Part of the Atlas Auto Comfort family, the Atlas Hybrid functions as either a passive foam mattress (open circuit) or an adjustable reactive surface (closed circuit).

- These allow for the Atlas Hybrid mattress to be transformed into a reactive surface (closed circuit).This often eliminates the need to trial multiple foam mattresses to find the ideal comfort and firmness for the patient.

TECHNOLOGY
- The Atlas Auto Comfort also uses equalization technology to ensure maximum pressure redistribution for pressure injury prevention or to support the healing process.
- At the center of the mattress is a series of ten (10) foam-and-air cylinders, interconnected in parallel, in open or closed circuit format, based on clinician preference. Dimensions vary according to mattress size. They are responsible for patient weight distribution.

ADJUSTING PRESSURE MANUALLY
Important to inflate mattress before usage.
1. Install the Atlas closure kit to the connectors located under the mattress flap on the bed side by gently pressing on the snap button.
2. While the mattress is unoccupied, connect the ROHO pump to the closure kit as shown in image #1. Open the valve by turning counterclockwise.
3. Repeat with the other connector.
The Atlas closure kit must always remain connected to the mattress. Removing the closure kit will cause mattress deflation and may damage the mattress.
