The LEIKA Fall guard system is a cord and voice patient safety monitor designed to detect resident movement and alert caregivers in real time. Compatible with both magnetic pull-cord and sensor cushion configurations, it combines reliable alarm technology with personalized voice message capability for a more reassuring patient experience.

Description
ALARM INDICATORS
- ALM: Flashing red light – alarm triggered
- BATTERY LOW: Flashing red + intermittent beep – low battery
- MON: Flashing green – monitoring mode active
- MON (solid green): HOLD mode active
ALARM SOUND SETTINGS
- 8 beep tones and 8 melodies available
- Distinct tones enable identification by room, caregiver, or fall-risk level
- 3 output modes: Tone only / Voice only / Voice then Tone
OPERATING MODES
- Pad Mode: Sensor cushion on bed, chair, or toilet – alarm triggers on weight removal
- Floor Mode: Floor mat sensor – alarm triggers on pressure application
- Magnet (Pull-Cord) Mode: Alarm triggers when cord is detached from unit
HOLD FUNCTION
- Hold button pressed 3 seconds to activate 300 seconds repositioning window
- Press again to cancel HOLD and return to monitoring
- Auto-exits HOLD after 300 seconds
VOICE MESSAGE RECORDING
- Up to 10 seconds of custom voice recording
- Re-recordable at any time
- Familiar voice reassures patient while alerting staff
NURSE CALL INTEGRATION
- Compatible with Continuous Closure and One Shot nurse call systems
