MATTRESS
- At the center of the mattress is a series of ten (10) parallel interconnected closed-circuit cylinders.
- The surface layer consists of convoluted high-resilience foam (head and pelvic sections) and Serene™ foam (heel section) to maximize patient comfort and support.
- It combines the benefits of viscoelastic foam and high-resilience foam.
TECHNOLOGY
- The Atlas Auto Comfort uses equalization technology to ensure maximum pressure redistribution for pressure injury prevention or to support the healing process. Beneath the top 1-inch layer of high-resilience convoluted foam are interconnected closed-circuit chambers ensuring self-adjusting pressure redistribution. Clients also benefit from 4-inch-wide firm bolsters guaranteeing a solid transfer edge. The Atlas Auto Comfort includes a 5-degree inclined foot section to help transfer excess pressure away from the heels.
